Privacy Policy for Email and SMS Communications (A2P 10DLC)

 

 

Carriage Cleaners ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you interact with us through email and SMS text messaging under the A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-Digit Long Code) framework.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

 

  • Provide transactional or service-related messages (e.g., order confirmations, appointment reminders).

3. SMS Messaging (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

 

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive transactional SMS order-status updates from Carriage Cleaners (e.g., receipt confirmation, estimated ready date, ready-for-pickup alerts, delay notices, uncollected-item reminders). We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this program.

 

  • Message frequency: up to 6 messages per order.

  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Your consent is not a condition of purchase.

  • Opt-out anytime by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or call (256) 883-0998.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

 

Opt-in Methods

 

  • Website order form: Customers provide their phone number and must check an unchecked consent box before submission.

  • In-store (POS): Customers provide their number, check the consent box on the receipt/tablet, and sign. See screenshot at the bottom of this page.

 

Consent records: We securely store consent details (name, mobile number, consent source, date/time, exact consent text, staff/user identifier or IP, and capture method) for at least four (4) years and can provide them upon request.

 

4. Email Communications

 

Emails are sent in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in our emails. We may still send important non-promotional messages (e.g., receipts, service updates).

 

5. Data Protection

 

We use appropriate safeguards including SSL/TLS encryption, role-based access controls, secure hosting, and data retention controls to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure.

 

6. Third-Party Sharing

 

We may share your information with service providers who help us deliver email and SMS services (e.g., email platforms, SMS gateway providers). These providers are required to safeguard your data and use it only for our communications. We do not sell or share your information with unaffiliated third parties for their marketing purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, withdraw consent for communications, or request deletion of your personal information.
